FinoCurve is a privacy-first desktop app for portfolios that do not fit a brokerage account — public markets, private holdings, loans and risk in one ledger that shows where every number came from.

Pretext

Most portfolio apps are built to look confident. They fill empty charts, round away the parts that don't tie out, and never say where a number came from. That is a design choice, and it is the wrong one.

FinoCurve is built the other way round. It would rather show you an empty chart and explain why than draw a line it hasn't observed.

— The standard the rest of this page demonstrates

The standard

Trust is a property of the numbers, not the styling.

Three rules the app is built to. Each one is visible in the product, not a claim about it.

01

Every figure carries its source.

A value is never shown bare. It travels with where it came from, the moment it represents, how it was valued, and how stale that makes it.

A market quote, a manual mark and a legacy import are different kinds of fact, and the app says which one you are reading.

02

No line it has not observed.

Most apps fill an empty performance chart with a flat line at today's total. That asserts the portfolio held that value on days nobody measured.

FinoCurve refuses. When there is no observed history it says so, names exactly what is missing, and points you at the views that are accurate right now.

03

Your ledger stays on your device.

Holdings live in a local database on your machine. There is no account to create and no server that needs your positions in order for the app to work.

Connections to market data, storage or an enterprise service are yours to configure, and the desktop client is source-available so you can check what it does.

Arithmetic

Figures that disagree are a bug, not a rounding difference.

Cost, gain and return are reported over investable holdings, with liabilities stated separately — so a mortgage can never distort the rate of return on a stock.

Gross assets$468,114.758 positions
Liabilities$280,000.001 obligation
Invested cost$349,200.00Capital deployed
Unrealized$118,914.75Against invested cost

468,114.75 − 349,200.00 = 118,914.75 unrealized118,914.75 ÷ 349,200.00 = 34.05% return468,114.75 − 280,000.00 = 188,114.75 net worth

The product

Built for portfolios a brokerage account cannot hold.

Public markets, private and manual holdings, property and debt — measured together rather than in four separate places.

01

Portfolio & allocation

Positions, cost basis and weight in a statement table. Allocation by asset class, sector or geography, always measured against gross assets.

02

Risk analysis

Concentration, volatility, Sharpe and drawdown computed on investable holdings — liabilities reported separately so debt never distorts the rate.

03

Markets & research

Charting, screeners and news alongside the book, so a position and the market it sits in are one keystroke apart.

04

Consolidated custody

For enterprise subscribers: balances aggregated across connected institutions, with provider link health beside them.
